Hook-Up Update: Is Brody In A Love Triangle?

Is Brody Jenner in the midst of a love trifecta? If the rumors are true and  Brody Jenner is dating Avril Lavigne, then yes!

An eyewitness spied Avril, 25, and Wilmer Valderama, 30, having a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner a deux at Shin restaurant in Hollywood Feb. 14.

Despite the V-day date, a different report suggests that Lavigne, who filed from divorce from husband Deryck Whibley in October of last year, is bumping uglies with The Hills hottie Brody Jenner. “They’re hooking up, but they’re keeping it low-key,” a source tells E! Online, who adds that the two don’t go out in public together.

If Brody IS dating Avril, he didn’t seem to miss her much on the day of love. The 26-year-old reality star, who split from Playmate Jayde Nicole in December, was all about his bros, rapper Bow Wow and Jersey Shore star Mike ‘The Situation’, while hosting a V-Day shin-dig at the Hard Rock Vegas Sunday night.

“All the ladies in the room wanted to be Brody’s Valentine,” an eyewitness tells HollywoodLife.com, “but he didn’t seem to be hitting on anyone in particular.”

"I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of jealous," Kristin Cavallari told UsMagazine.com when asked about the new hit MTV show at her 23rd birthday party Saturday at Beso, Eva Longoria Parker's Las Vegas restaurant that connects with her nightclub, Eve.

Jersey Shore's Jan. 7 show had its highest ratings ever -- more than 3.2 million viewers. (In comparison, ratings for The Hills ratings have dropped significantly: 1.72 million viewers tuned in to the October season 5 finale; 2.6 million viewers watched the season 4 finale.)

Cavallari's favorite character? "The Situation," she told Us. "I mean, come on, right?"

She said she'd even date a guido. "Maybe, if I liked him," she told Us. "I mean, if I was attracted to him, absolutely."
